SWAP X TYPE is a collaboration project with 30 type artists and calligraphers in the Philippines, celebrating the beauty of handwritten letters and how it inspires us everyday.

Resembling a broken infinity, the ampersand reminds me that while nothing lasts forever, there’s always an AND – another chapter, a continuation, a next step. So I replaced number 8 with an ampersand. It’s a reminder that even if you don’t have all time in the world, as long as you have time on your side, nothing is impossible. That you can continue on. That it’s not about you versus time, but you WITH time.
