Origamoney

An alphabet made from the new generation Philippine Peso bills, Origamoney was born out of my personal experimentation with type, with the thought that if I created more letters (and in bigger denominations), the more I would be able to save.

It is made by folding a single Peso bill into shapes that form one letter, without damaging or defacing the money (so that it can be used again).

In 2014, TBWA\SMP created large Christmas cards with messages that use Origamoney. They were hand delivered to different orphanages in Metro Manila like Cribs in Marikina, Bright Halls in Quezon City, White Cross Orphanage in San Juan and Bahay ng Pagmamahal in Pasig.
